Malimbu Cliff Villa is one of the most luxurious & private villas Lombok has to offer on the western coastline featuring 5 spacious bedrooms accommodating up to 10 adults and 4 children (under 12 years old). The villa has been architecturally designed over three levels to ensure every room makes the most of the beautiful Malimbu clifftop views. Be mesmerized by the panoramic ocean view as you enter the villa at the uppermost level towards the lobby area, via a balé (gazebo) where a large shell chandelier is suspended from the traditional Serap roof. A large master suite and one of the four other guest rooms are accessible on this level. Follow the cream terrazzo stairs and venture down to the ground floor to discover three beautifully decorated guest bedrooms on either side of an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area that overlooks the 18-metre swimming pool and entertainment terrace.

The Master Bedroom (also known as Premier Ocean View Suite)
Our Lombok villa’s master suite is elegantly built with quality finishing, striking spaces and an abundance of natural light to optimize enjoyment throughout any season. The master suite features a luxurious deep terrazzo tub with indoor and outdoor showers where you can view sunsets over the mystical Mt Agung in Bali. Occupying most of the upper floor, the palatial master suite is home to a comfortable TV lounge, bedroom, dressing room, and ensuite bathroom. Featuring teak floors and a ‘wall’ of glass sliding doors, the bedroom is beautifully lit with Moroccan-style lanterns while its luxurious bathroom features a deep terrazzo tub as well as indoor and outdoor showers. Blue and white cushions inject colour into the suite along with paintings that reflect the hues of the setting sun, but what really ignites this room is the private balcony to view another sunset over the mystical Mount Agung in Bali. Few Lombok Villas compare to this magical setting!
UPSTAIRS GUEST BEDROOM
The upstairs guest room ensuite, also known as the deluxe ocean view suite, features a bed head stunningly crafted from naturally edged solid wood. Green pillows match the swaying palm fronds while a series of bright abstract flower paintings add a splash of colour to the room. Guests staying in this room can walk out to the terrace, furnished with egg-cup shaped swivel chairs and from the large terrazzo tub into the ensuite bathroom to soak up views of the hillside and rocky Malimbu beach.
DOWNSTAIRS GUEST BEDROOMS
Located on the lower level of the villa are three additional deluxe rooms with a combination of king and twin bedding configuration. Similar to the design and layout of the deluxe ocean view suite upstairs, our downstairs guest bedrooms are ideal for families with children. These can be booked separately during the low and normal seasons. Cool lime green modular chairs add a modern touch along with large abstract paintings. The twin room features a terrazzo tub in it’s ensuite and opens onto a covered patio furnished with an outdoor sofa and coffee table. While the king bedroom opens directly onto the pool and features an open-air shower in its bathroom.

Designed for a sociable holiday in Lombok, Malimbu Cliff Villa’s open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area opens onto the poolside deck with bi-fold doors. This leaves you perfectly placed to make the most of your stay in our luxury Lombok villa. Open the bi-fold doors in the morning and enjoy swimming in the 18-metre infinity pool which appears to drop over the cliff into the ocean. Alternatively, practice morning yoga in our newly renovated timber deck shaded by fragrant frangipanis.
Indoor Living
The interior featured walls are delicately hand-painted in a grey and white floral design. While a long teak dining table with a bench seat and six white modular chairs lies within easy access of a galley-style kitchen. Our open plan kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest modern appliances. Guests can pull up a stool at the breakfast bar and watch our Chefs at work, or perhaps even exchange a recipe or two. On the other side of the room, a comfortable, beige sofa accented with aquamarine and lime green cushions, creates a lovely lounge featuring a shag pile carpet, wooden coffee table, and pretty butterfly wall mural. A three-seater sofa faces a large flat-screen satellite TV with a surround-sound system, great for watching movies.
Outdoor Living
The outdoor area of Malimbu Cliff Villa Lombok is our guests’ favourite spot because of its stunning 18-metre infinity pool that appears to drop over the cliff side into the ocean. Surrounded by a wooden timber deck shaded by fragrant frangipanis, this is the ideal place to recline on a sun lounge and work on your tan or just lie back and watch the sun set. Adjacent to the pool, the alfresco dining terrace features a six seated round table and is the spot for long, lazy Lombok lunches.
